Payload CMS Server is Questura’s canonical content and data platform. Built with Payload, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, it defines and stores the records powering Questura—from locations and articles to media, tours, users, and payments.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage Questura’s content collections and editorial lifecycle
- Store canonical production data in PostgreSQL
- Provide REST and GraphQL APIs
- Handle staff authentication and access control
- Process Stripe payments and transactional email
- Trigger Questura Client cache updates after content changes
How It Connects
- AI Blog Writer creates articles and itineraries, then syncs approved drafts to Payload.
- Location Manager enriches location records and syncs them to Payload.
- Payload CMS Server validates, stores, and publishes canonical records.
- Questura Client reads those records and presents them to visitors.
